COVID-19 – We continue to move towards Exchange of Contracts

No doubt you will have read media headlines that have talked about “suspend the housing market” which we know will be extremely unsettling for you.

However, we should point out that the government has been clear that there is no need to pull out of transactions and we will continue to help you move towards exchange.

If the property you are buying is empty, then completion can go ahead as normal, obviously following government guidance about social distancing and safety.  Where the property is occupied, we will work towards agreeing on alternative dates for you to move, for a time when it is likely that stay-at-home measures against COVID-19 will no longer be in place.
