Typically, it is very time consuming for brokers to check the progress of transactions which usually involves multiple telephone calls to their client’s lawyer.
The role of a mortgage broker in a transaction is a critical one as the ability for clients to secure financing can be key to the success or otherwise of a transaction. The aim of their new Broker Portal is to save time and allow for clear communication by offering live case updates, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is accompanied by a weekly update summary. Case progression, key milestones and the ability to communicate directly with the lawyer over secure messaging ensures that everyone involved knows what’s going on. In addition, important transaction information such as target exchange and completion dates, service charges, ground rent, lease length and remaining term are also available.
